Experience / Career journey

From building digital experiences to managing the work around them.

I began in front-end development and gradually moved into broader digital responsibility. The roles changed, but each stage added a new layer: technical delivery, client communication, project ownership, marketing, team coordination and multi-brand operations.

Today, I work across websites, content, campaigns, analytics and digital delivery. My development background remains useful because it helps me understand how marketing ideas translate into practical digital experiences.

Career timeline

  1. 2024 to Present

    Digital & Community Manager

    Cyberati Digital

I manage digital marketing, brand communication, websites and creative collateral across a six-brand portfolio spanning technology, financial services, corporate communication, business information and social impact.

    My work includes:

    • Digital marketing and brand communication
    • Website content, new pages and ongoing improvements
    • Website maintenance, bug correction, basic SEO and uptime monitoring
    • Social media and digital content
    • Partner campaigns and landing pages
    • Brochures, banners, publications, email assets and event collateral
    • Website and social performance review
    • Coordination with management, commercial teams, colleagues and external partners

This role has strengthened my ability to prioritise across different brands and channels while keeping each brand's audience and objectives clear.

  2. 2023 to 2024

    Digital Marketer & Manager

    Zyllions

I worked across digital strategy, social media, content, client communication, campaign execution and reporting for startups and small to medium-sized businesses.

The role developed my ability to move between strategic recommendations and practical delivery while adapting the work to each client's resources, audience and stage of growth.

  3. 2021 to 2023

    Assistant Team Leader, Marketing

    JurisTax

I worked in a multi-brand financial-services environment across digital strategy, social media, content, branding, websites, team support, project coordination, video, public relations and event activity.

This was an important stage in bringing my technical and marketing experience together. It also gave me earlier experience of supporting several entities with different communication priorities.

  4. 2020 to 2021

Front-End Developer / Head of Digital

    Capgraph

I combined front-end development with client communication, project ownership, usability and website delivery.

My responsibilities included translating requirements into website structures, building responsive interfaces, coordinating decisions between clients and delivery teams, improving usability and creating more consistent development approaches.

This role shifted my focus from individual technical tasks towards responsibility for the wider digital project.

  5. 2019 to 2020

Freelance Digital Marketer & Web Developer

I supported clients across digital content, social media, paid social optimisation, Google Analytics, website development and maintenance.

This period helped me understand websites as part of a broader marketing system rather than isolated development projects.

  6. 2018 to 2019

    Collection Specialist

    Accenture

Although this role sat outside my later digital path, it strengthened my professional communication, process discipline, accountability and experience within a large organisation.

  7. 2015 to 2018

    Front-End Web Developer

    Circus Advertising

This role established the technical foundation of my career. I built and maintained responsive websites using Drupal, WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery while working with designers and back-end developers.

The work included translating detailed designs into responsive interfaces, building custom navigation and interactions, maintaining CMS-based websites and troubleshooting front-end issues across devices.
